Brad really enjoyed soccer this season. He had a wonderful coach that pushed him to do his best. A great team that did pretty well throughout the season.
One of Brad's favorite positions on the field is goal keeper...at least it has been in the past. He's gotten to the point, though, that he doesn't like playing it all the time. He's enjoying other positions (like center midfield) much better now. I think this year he got his happy medium of playing all the positions he likes...

Brad also played Defense, Center Mid and a few times offense. He scored several goals throughout the season...
Our favorite was the last goal he scored, in the last game of the season, in the last few minutes of the game. Brad had been talking about how he wanted to celebrate his last goal by doing something funny. He likes showing off his abs of steal (as he calls them) and was going to run around the field pointing to his abs after his last goal...but that morphed in to pulling his shirt above his head and running around the field. We didn't think he'd score...his opportunities just weren't lining up right. Then just a couple minutes before the end of the game, he scores, turns around pulls his shirt above his head and runs down the field waving his arms in the air. Everyone was cheering and laughing.
The best thing about this season was we had a great group of parents & kids that hopefully we'll get paired up with next season.

This summer Brad will be staying in close contact with his coach through PASS training which is a strength and conditioning program his Coach runs through his own fitness training company. Luckily most of the classes are inside so Brad won't have to battle this nasty heat.
