Do you ever get that forward email about your relationship with your mom...like at 7 years old they feel like they're the smartest person in the world...at 17 they feel something different...at 27....you get the point. It tells a story how your relationship with your mom comes full circle.

Luckily my mom and I have always been tight. I won't lie...we've had our ups and downs. (Mainly her disagreeing with our decisions to move to AZ...then 5 years later to TX.) But we've always been close. Some people don't understand it. My mom is one of my best friends...non-judgemental, always there when I need her, and truly one of the sweetest people I know.

And she's coming in 7 hours for a full week and a half. And to top it off my dad and brother are coming out too next week for a few days. The circumstances surrounding their trip here aren't the happiest. But it still lights up my life to see them and spend time with them.
