One week ago, I was sitting in my front yard at my community garage sale. Selling odds and ends, dealing with people who want everything at 90% of what you list the price as. About 7:20am I got a call from my mom. I knew this wasn't good...it was 5:20am her time on a Saturday morning.

I answer the phone and hear the words "She's gone."

My mom was referring to my Granny. This past week has had many ups and downs. Lots of reminiscing about some truly happy times spent with my Granny. My Granny was such an influential person in my life. I will write more about her in the future...but for now I'm sorting out my feelings and helping family with getting things settled for her memorial service.

I truly miss her.
