...and we are off!
We started our day at a time when many folks were going to bed after a night on the town. Not going to lie ... Waking up at 1:15am was rough. Really rough.
We met the team at the JetBlue Airline check-in and were on our way. The attendants on JetBlue were far from from friendly. Really disappointing considering I have heard good stuff about their service. Definitely first and last time flying them. They ended up losing the luggage of one of the moms. They had the wrong tag on her checked luggage. (Apparently it had OUR name on it.)
After arriving at JFK we made the trek from Terminal 5 to Terminal 8. At check in we found out that one of the boys had his name misspelled on his ticket. His dad was flying in from another country and he was traveling with his aunt & uncle. Luckily they were able to re-ticket him...after lots of phone calls and pleading.
We are now sitting in the food court waiting to go to our gate while the boys hunt for Pokemon. The parents are exhausted and we still have another flight and a day ahead of us.
Definitely looking forward to a good nights sleep!
