We had a very relaxing New Years Eve. No partying, no exciting events...just me and the boys, a few movies and yummy comfort food. (Baked potato soup)
I have been thinking a lot about goals I want to work towards for 2012...and came up with three main catagories:
Health
Both physical and financial health. Other than lasik eye surgery - I don't want any surgery. I've had major surgery the last several years straight and am just wanting a healthy year. I want to work out more now that I have my "new knee" - in fact I'm taking on the 365 challenge. You run/walk 365 miles for the year. I'm fairly certain I can surpass it. But it's a good goal to keep in mind. I want to build our savings account to have a nice cushion to fall back on in case anything were to come up ... car dies, major repairs, or we want to go on a big vacation and not rely on credit cards or totally depleting our savings.
Learning & Exploration
I hope to learn both professionally and personally this year. I'd like to continue my reading and understanding of ROI on learning development initiatives for work. Personally, I'd like to explore more of Austin and the great state of Texas. Expose Bradley to more of the history and the different things this state offers. I'd also like to learn and feel more comfortable around power tools and get a little better in the sewing arena.
Create
I'm hoping to not allow my etsy shop to fall behind as it did most of 2011. I'm also going to try the 365 photo challenge this year. I've tried it in years past...but only made it about 20-something days. Finally, I'd like to keep trying new crafts I find on pinterest.
Have a healthy, successful, and happy 2012!
